First, I want to say thank you for trusting me and my team with your immigration journey.
As you know, I am not an immigrant myself, but I have the joy of being married to an immigrant and the joy of representing thousands of wonderful individuals and families on their immigration journey into the US. With that, let me tell you the good, the bad and the trendy for this week.
The Good
We have had major wins this week. After two years of waiting and a few bumps in the road, one of our removal of condition clients finally got her interview scheduled. This is a very special case for us because our client got divorced due to spousal infidelity early in the initial two years of the marriage.
Other wins include a fiancé visa approval for a client living in Malaysia, multiple I-130 approvals now ready for consular processing, another Special Immigrant Juvenile Work Permit approval as well as a few adjustment of status work permits.
The Bad
My office continues to receive more and more Request for Evidence (RFE) for frivolous things such as medical exams that were already sent to USCIS, requests for additional copies of birth certificates, etc. We hope this trend ends soon!
